THE Calanques

If you ever just happen to stumble into Marseille there a few things worth noting. Yes, you can check out the Notre-Dame de la Garde, the Vieux Port, Palais Longchamp, and all those other things you get when you search Marseille into Google but, one of that things that I highly recommend is Le Parc National des Calanques.

I found out about this place about a year ago from my favorite Youtubers: Damon and Jo, and I knew I had to go I just never thought it would be so soon! The amazing color of the water alone is breathtaking but there’s so many things to see as well, well as much as a National Park offers. 😉 The Calanques is one of those things you see in travel magazines or dream destinations where you want to go but will never get the chance.

Astrid, Valeria, me, and our host family spent the day exploring the Calanques, I mean really ALL DAY! We started off on trails with all the other locals and tourists and then slowly went off on our own little path. Soon enough we got kinda stuck but that’s all about the ADVENTURE!

We ended up trying to find a calanque but getting a little lost on the way. By that I mean we kinda stumbled upon a nudist beach…and then we found a place to eat. So yea just beware that there are nudist beaches in the Calanques, if you didn’t know already.

It was probably the nicest day to see the Calanques because there wasn’t too much wind and the weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold.

When visiting make sure to bring sunscreen, good walking shoes, camera (to take some beautiful shots), and if you’re there for a while, a picnic lunch, but make sure to clean up afterwards! Keeping traveling & stay tuned for more!

The park you visited looks nice. Look like the nature girl. Takes a skill and maturity to explore like that! Good for you. We all miss you and glad you’re strong brave and adventures.
