How I Missed My First Ever Flight!

It’s funny when you travel you never think that missing a flight will happen but, when you travel a lot you start assuming that it’s going to happen sooner rather than later. So, me getting back into traveling I never thought that missing my flight would happen on the second trip since Covid. But alas, it happened.

For those interested in knowing what happened before this story, you can check out my previous post Vamonos a Tulum, Mexico. Any who, into the storytime…. Continue reading

Vamonos a Tulum, Mexico!

Long time no see, as they say. It’s been what, two, maybe three years since I’ve written and posted a blog post here. With the big gap I’ve had in posting, it was hard at first to gain back access to this blog not to mention I am still struggling to login to my travel Instagram. At first, I thought I was never going to be able to get back into this account and started creating a new WordPress site, but of course WordPress has updated and became a little too confusing. After a few tries over the last month I was able to get in and I’m excited to get back to sharing my travel stories, advice, and recommendations with you all again!

Nightmare – in – Switzerland

Starting off this adventure story series  with my (so far) CRAZIEST travel story yet…SWITZERLAND!!! Emily, my friend from Maryland, and I started our day by having our bus cancelled on us. Great way to start any day. Once we managed to get on the right bus, 30 minutes later we arrived in Geneva and were dropped off at a random road, which didn’t look like a road we should’ve been dropped off at. Continue reading

Do I Have A Crazy Obsession?

Coming home from France my first job was to reorganize my things because before I left I cleaned out my room so, my little brother could move into it. I had put all my things into boxes and now that I was back, it was time to sort through them. As I was, I stumbled upon a plethora of books. I looked at all these books spread out on the floor and I caught onto a theme…they were all, somehow, related to Paris, French, or France! And that’s when I realized that I might have a little obsession.

A Close Relative?

Here on exchange I have had the lucky honor to meet so many various people from all over the world. And along with that, came the chance to get interested and learn about new languages & countries. One of my good friends, Astrid, has gotten me very interested in her country, Norway, and the language. I have had the lucky pleasure to become close friends with her over my 9 months so far on exchange and can’t wait to visit her country some day, and maybe, hopefully speak with her in her native tongue. What NOT to miss in Paris, if you only have a few days.

Now I know that on my blog I have already written about Paris. In fact, if you’ve been with me a while and have kept up to date with my posts, you probably haven’t forgotten my Paris In A Day . We all know that Paris is too big to do a day trip to. And recently not only did I do a day trip in Paris but, I had a second chance to visit the beautiful city. The thing is that I only got to add one more day! So. How did I get to see all the main attractions throughout Paris with only two days to spare?  Continue reading

Magical Day in Disneyland Paris

Stumbling out of bed at 6:30 in the morning isn’t as magical as most would assume, at least not for someone who isn’t a morning person. As my grandmother and I took line 6 to Charles de Gaulle Étoile I knew we were in for a treat. First we got a little lost taking the metro and almost ended up taking the wrong one but, lucky enough we got back on track and found the RER A, which we took all the way to Disneyland.  Continue reading

Paris in a day

This past week I spent with my Grandma, who came to visit me during my exchange in France. During her week here we had a tight schedule. We saw Paris, Lyon, Aurillac, Clermont-Ferrand, and Disneyland Paris. But for only spending one day in Paris we had to get as much done without being too rushed. In today’s post I wanted to share my mistakes, my favorites things I saw in Paris, and sights to miss if you have limited time.
